Eugene Evasco

Eugene Y. Evasco is a Filipino writer, editor, and translator passionate about children's literature. As a Full Professor at the University of the Philippines, he has authored over 30 books, including *Ang Nag-iisa at Natatanging si Onyok*, and translated works like *Charlotte’s Web* into Filipino. A Hall of Famer at the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards, he has also been a Fellow at the UP Institute of Creative Writing and a Research Fellow at the International Youth Library in Munich. Through his writing, teaching, and advocacy, Eugene continues to inspire young minds and promote Filipino culture.
