Inspiring Young Minds Through Stories
I'm Eugene Y. Evasco, a writer, editor, and translator passionate about children's literature. As a Full Professor at the UP College of Arts and Letters, I’ve authored works like Ang Nag-iisa at Natatanging si Onyok and translated Charlotte’s Web into Filipino. A Hall of Famer at the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards, I’m also a Fellow at the UP Institute of Creative Writing and a former Research Fellow at the International Youth Library in Munich. My goal is to inspire and nurture creativity through the power of stories.
